Aircraft Spins Uncontrollably into Palm Fronds at Frequented California Shoreline
A chopper flying above a crowded southern California shoreline unexpectedly started spinning out of control, eventually dropping height and plunging into a cluster of palm groves as beachgoers looked on.
Footage shared on social media capture the aircraft beginning to twirl over the shoreline then plunging towards the perimeter of the coast, where it gets stuck amidst palm groves and a steps close to the coastal road.
First Aid Details
The Huntington Beach fire department stated five individuals were rushed to the hospital comprising two individuals who were in the helicopter and were “rescued from the debris” after the accident on the weekend.
Three persons on the street were injured. Details on their condition were not yet released.
The cause of the crash was not yet disclosed.
